In the inspiring journey of Hope St Pete, we have witnessed the beautiful tapestry woven by our Founding Pastors, Bryan and Jen Jennings. In 2017, they answered the call to cultivate a life-giving and diverse community in the heart of St Pete, one that goes beyond a Sunday experience to foster genuine relationships with Jesus. Their vision, supported by local churches and their home church in NYC, has touched the city profoundly, from partnerships with Gibbs High School to initiatives like Feed St Pete and IndyCar Ministries.
As they embraced a new season in 2021, Pastors Bryan and Jen earnestly prayed for the right leaders to guide Hope into its next chapter. Simultaneously, Pastors Esteban and Chari Orozco were seeking God’s direction after a decade of faithful service on another church staff. Through divine connections, they found themselves drawn to Hope, recognizing its incredible community as the perfect fit for their family. With the Jennings laying a solid foundation and continuing to contribute to our teaching team and as elders, the Orozcos relocated from Jacksonville, FL, to pastor and lead the Hope St Pete community.
This transition signifies an exciting shift into a season where we not only serve within the church walls but also actively build the church beyond Sunday mornings.
